Other countries are already saying goodbye to 2012 and hello to 2013.

Fireworks lit up the sky Tuesday over Sydney Harbor Bridge in Australia.

More than a million revelers gathered in the harbor for a $6.9 million pyrotechnics party.

Meanwhile, Auckland, New Zealand, became the first major city to bring in the New Year. Fireworks were shot from the Sky Tower which is the tallest structure in the Southern Hemisphere standing at 1,076 feet.
