The showdown between the ULM Warhawks and the Ohio Bobcats will soon get underway but there are some things you need to keep mind before you make your way to the big game.

If you don't feel like dealing with finding a place to park for the 2012 AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl you can hop on the shuttle.

The Independence Bowl Foundation will provide shuttle service for fans attending the game.

The shuttle will run from 10 a.m. until one hour after the game is over from both Pierre Bossier Mall and Mall St. Vincent.  A $5 round-trip fee will apply, but all fans 12 and under can ride for free.

There are several options for parking if you do want to drive your own vehicle.

Day of Game parking in the Blue Lot will be $15. The Blue Lot is a non-tailgating parking lot.

If you're interested in purchasing a tailgate spot for the game you can purchase White Lot parking passes through the State Fair of LA office by calling (318) 635-1361.

For those of you who have questions about Handicap parking call (318) 221-0712.

Meanwhile, here's a list of things that you can't take into the Independence Stadium:

  • Umbrellas
  • Outside food or drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
  • Ice chests/coolers
  • Video Cameras
  • Firearms
  • Mace
  • Knives
  • Pocket Tools
  • Straight Blades

  • Oversize Bags (Bags must fit in 1212 box)
  • Laser Pointers/Lights
