Working in the winter weather

When "Jack Frost" is nipping at our noses, some still have to work outside.

"I've been out since 6:45, 7:00 this morning," says Marcus Willis.

Willis and his co-worker, Kevin Collins, work for Shreveport-Bossier's Solid Waste Department. They get to work at sunrise, just to work all day in the cold.

"It's a little tough though, but it's okay," says Willis. "[I've] made it so far throughout the day, so a couple more hours. I can go longer. I'll be alright."

Layers help keep them warm, when mother nature doesn't.

"I got two pairs of pants up under this, two shirts, some gloves," says Collins.

Constantly moving around and getting in and out of the truck really helps.
