Four firefighters shot while responding to house fire

MSNBC is reporting that two firefighters are dead and two others were injured after a shooting in New York.

The firefighters responded to the blaze 5 a.m. Monday in the northwestern town of Webster.

Authorities say the firefighters were fired upon shortly after exiting their vehicles.

The neighborhood has been evacuated and police are searching for the suspects.

Three homes and one vehicle were destroyed in the fire.

Police arrest suspect in stabbing

An argument between two brothers ends with a stabbing in the cedar grove neighborhood.

it happened shortly after 11 this morning at the corner of 73rd and southern avenue in shreveport.

police say 26 year old edward bouya was stabbed in the chest by his 16 year old brother.

bouya was taken to a local hospital with non- life threatening injuries..

his brother is charged with aggravated battery... His name is being with held because he is a minor..
