SWEPCO spokesperson says they're asking for help from neighbor AEP

SWEPCO spokesperson Scott McCloud tells NBC 6 that 64,000 customers were in the dark during the peak of outages, around 6:30 A.M. Thursday.

By 8:15 A.M. that number was down to around 40,000.  Fallen trees caused most the downed transformers.

To speed the process up, McCloud says they're asking for neighboring AEP crews to help.
