Suspect arrested for allegedly killing a 10-month old baby

A Natchitoches man accused of murdering a 10-month-old baby is behind bars.
Jonathan King, 30, was arrested after a two-month investigation revealed evidence linking him to the infant's death.
Authorities responded to a home in Provencal on Oct. 16 after receiving an emergency call reporting the death of a child.
When investigators arrived on the scene they discovered the baby died under suspicious circumstances.
As a result of the autopsy findings, a criminal warrant was obtained for King's arrest.
King was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged and charged with a single count of second degree murder.
No bond has been set.
