Students at Parkway High School are making sure Bossier families don't hungry this Christmas.
Friday the school will donate nearly 1,000 canned goods to Operation Blessing.
The program, which was developed in 1998, includes a food bank that is staffed by the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office year-round.
The food items that Parkway donates will go to help build Christmas food boxes for 500 needy families and will be delivered by deputies on Tuesday, Dec. 18.
