Residents
believe it costs anywhere from $30,000 to upwards of $100,000. Regardless residents say the building needs
to remain in the hands of the community.
The school
system's superintendent, Dr. Janice Williams says a dollar figure hasn't been
put on the table. She says the school has to be appraised. After that the school board will be ready to
sell to the highest bidder.
A meeting will be held January 4th at 6:30PM at St. Rest Baptist Church. Dr. Williams says the group has until March to come up with a plan for the school. She doesn't want the building to remain vacant too much longer
