An East Texas man has been taken into custody for allegedly robbing a Family Dollar store.
Tuesday Robert Deramus, 41, turned himself into Marshall Police.
Deramus is accused of robbing the store Monday night in the 600 block of West Grand.
A Family Dollar employee told authorities Deramus entered the store with his hand in his pocket like he had a gun and demanded money. He fled on foot after grabbing an undisclosed amount of cash out of the register.
Deramus faces charges of robbery, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft and organized retail theft.
