Students at College Hill Middle School can look forward to learning science concepts outside of the classroom.
A $10,000 grant from America's Farmers Grow Rural Education will help the school build a science lab.
America's Farmers Grow Rural Education gives farmers the opportunity to nominate a public school district in their community to compete for grants to enhance education in the areas of math and science.
Paula Cook, College Hill Middle School science enquiry teacher said "I am overjoyed and proud that our school district is a recipient of the America's Farmers Grow Rural Education program,". "What an impact it is having on our youth who will be the innovators for tomorrow. It is so invigorating to see that a program realizes that tomorrow's leaders are being formed today."
College Hill Middle School will be presented with the grant Tuesday night prior to the school's Christmas play.
