ELYSIAN FIELDS, TX - Elysian Fields wasn't supposed to beat Arp: they did.

They weren't supposed to beat Hughes Springs: they did.

They weren't supposed to be in the semi-finals: they are.

The Jackets head to Waco, TX for a matchup with undefeated East Bernard on Friday, Dec. 14th.

Head coach Eric King's group took an unlikely playoff-path, that involved knocking-off two teams in the playoffs that had destroyed them in the regular season.

In the regional round, Elysian took down Arp 30-20.

In the quarterfinals, the Jackets beat Hughes Springs 21-14.

During the regular season, Elysian lost by a combined total of 125-27 to Arp and Hughes Springs.

The Yellowjackets have been underdogs each round of the playoffs and the story will be the same on Friday against East Bernard.
