Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover makes his first official public appearance Tuesday.  The mayor attended a city council work session.

Before last week the mayor spent more than two months in the hospital.  He tore both quadricep tendons and had to undergo surgery. Before Tuesday he was handling city business from his hospital bed.

Throughout Shreveport signs have been put up by Glover thanking community members for their prayers and support.  The mayor told council members his wife, Veronica was his rock during this entire ordeal.
