Excitement is brewing over Bossier parish student art show

Some of the finest art work by Bossier Parish students will soon be on display.

Tuesday the Bossier Arts Council East Bank Gallery is opening the Bossier Parish Student Art Show with a reception and award ceremony.

The exhibit will feature a variety of mediums and styles produced by students across Bossier Parish.

Currently there at 104 pieces hanging in the gallery and more are expected in the next couple of days.

The reception will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Bossier Arts Council headquarters on 630 Barksdale Blvd.

The art work will be on display through January 15th.
