Updated: December 8, 2012
A adult male is in the hospital recovering from non-life threatening injuries after being shot when his potential client refused to pay him enough for his services.

According to Shreveport Police, a man dressed up as a woman was approached by a black male in a white vehicle with a blue top while standing at the corner of Pierre Avenue and Abbie Street around 5:45 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the male asked the transgender for services and the transgender allegedly told the potential client he did not have enough money to meet his requirements.

The victim told police the man left, and then returned to shoot him once in the upper thigh.

The victim was then transported to LSU Hospital. Police do not have anyone in custody in relation to the shooting. The suspect is described as a black male, with a cast, and facial hair, driving a white vehicle with a blue top.
