Local bank makes large investment in BPCC future

By: Nikki Henderson
Updated: December 6, 2012

Citizens National Bank is making it possible for area students to achieve their educational goals.

Bank representatives recently presented Chancellor Jim Henderson and BPCC Foundation President Hedy Hebert with a $10,000 donation for student scholarships.

Citizens National Bank has supported BPCC's scholarship program for more than 15 years. More than $150,000 has been contributed to both BPCC academic and athletic programs.

The bank's financial gifts have assisted hundreds of students by removing barriers and granting them access to college classes that they might not have had the opportunity to afford.
