Updated: December 4, 2012
According to multiple media outlets, the University of Arkansas will hire Bret Bielema as its next football coach.

Bielema is currently the head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers. He still has one-more game to coach with the Badgers before leaving for Fayetteville. Wisconsin is scheduled to play Stanford in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1st.

Bielema's tenure at Wisconsin spans seven-seasons, where he posted a 68-24 record.

He was hired as head coach of the Badgers in 2006.

In a seven-year span, Bielema led Wisconsin to seven consecutive bowl appearances, including three straight appearances in the Rose Bowl.

If reports are true, Bielema will take over a rebuilding project at Arkansas.

After tying a school record with 11 wins in 2011, the Razorbacks fell on hard times following the firing of former head coach Bobby Petrino.

Under the leadership of interim head coach John L. Smith, Arkansas suffered home losses to the University of Louisiana Monroe and Rutgers, ending the season with a a 4-8 record in 2012.
