All weekend, the Hankins have been in prep mode. The husband and wife duo has served meals to about 20 evacuees from Doyline, Louisiana.

"Uh, we both kind of do a little bit of everything really," says Matt Hankins.

"Yea, we're a pretty good team," says Sarah Hankins.

Sarah and Matt Hankins at Camp Caney opened their cabins and beds to those families, while they wait for explosives to be safely removed from Camp Minden.

"We both share in the responsibility" says Sarah. But they both admit the cleaning, they don't share.

"I do a lot of the cleaning though," says Matt. "I hate cleaning, so he cleans a lot more than I do," says Sarah.

Both have been working all weekend, with some help to provide meals free of charge.

"We have a lot of really good friends and support that come to help out whenever they can. We're not, you know, totally alone. We had some friends out helping yesterday, but it's just an effort of love."

Once breakfast is served, they move on to lunch. Once lunch is served, they move on to getting dinner ready.

"We've set up a meal time so we do have a little bit of a break in between each meal, but um, we go home and nap," says Sarah.

One teenager we spoke to says it's like a mini-vacation.

"It's been good, just going outside to play basketball with my brother for once in a while," says Tyreck Wilson.

"[I] have fun with a couple of more people, play games and watch movies I haven't seen before."

He's enjoying his stay, but he says there's nothing like home.

"I'm enjoying my stay here, but like, at the same time, I'm ready to go home," says Wilson.
