The 25th annual World Aids Day is Dec. 1. It's a global movement to educate people about the HIV/Aids epidemic.

To get the word out, the Philadelphia Center is sponsoring a special screening of the documentary, "deepsouth." The film details the lives of those with HIV and Aids, and those who are advocating for help to fight the disease. The screening will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Shreveport Little Theatre.

Following the film, there will be a question and answer session with the director, Lisa Biagiotti. At 4:30 p.m., there will be a ceremony of Remembrance. It will be held at the Mercy Center, located at 740 Austin Place.
