District Titles Decided in Shreveport!

Kenny Franklin scored 20 points as did fellow senior Johnathan Taylor as Evangel defeated Plain Dealing 63-58 at Evangel. The victory avenged a 90-84 loss at Plain Dealing on January 16th. The victory also means Evangel and Plain Dealing share the District 1-1A title. In girls basketball, Parkway defeated Haughton 95-79 to capture the District 1-4A title. Cloe Woodington led the Lady Panthers with 41 points. Southwood defeated Byrd 43-28 to capture the District 1-5A title.
