Updated: November 28, 2012

The Salvation Army is warning residents to watch out for thieves this holiday season.

The non-profit organization recently learned that many residents have received calls soliciting donations.

The Salvation Army in Shreveport-Bossier does not utilize callers to request funds.

The organization's approved fundraising options are through the Red Kettles, direct mail solicitations, the website at www.salvationarmyshreveport.org, 1800-SAL-ARMY, or by mailing your donation to The Salvation Army at 200 East Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71101.
