Early special election voting begins for Public Safety Sales Tax.

Early voting is going on right now in Shreveport for a special election as residents are being asked to approve a tax renewal that will aid both the city's police and fire departments.

NBC 6 Reporter Morgan Thomas has more on what is being called the Public Safety Sales Tax.
