Its general manager said traffic has been steady.
"It's been good. A lot of people have been really happy to see us. And they like the variety of products we carry," said Heath Gammill.
Gammill said many of the customers are impressed with the variety of colors they offer for clothing items.
"I like it because
it's hands on, you can look for yourself and the people are friendly. I like
the items they have," said Larry Hill, of Waskom, TX.
Gammill said he's looking into stocking the store with kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards in the spring.
The first Gearhead Outfitters opened in 1997 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The company's store in Shreveport is its fourth location and first in Louisiana.
