Spotlight shines on top Shreveport-Bossier football players

Football players who were chosen to play with Team Louisiana will be showcasing their talents from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Evangel Christian Academy.
Seventh and eighth graders will be representing schools such as Benton, Caddo Middle Magnet, Elm Grove, Evangel, First Baptist, Greenacres and Youree Drive.
Team Louisiana will begin the first round of the national championship tournament Dec. 1 at Evangel.
The winners of the competition ultimately will be fighting for a chance to show off their athletic skills in January at San Antonio's Alamodome.
