Future plans for GM Plant

A plan for the former GM plant could be in the works.  Last Thursday Caddo Parish Commissioner Ken Epperson met with an entity looking to set up shop in Shreveport.  The company's name must remain confidential because of the ongoing negotiations.

Epperson reassures the community the plant is being maintained.  The utilities are still on and the building continues to have around the clock security.

   

The commissioner says a lot of the laid off workers have found jobs at GM facilities in Texas and Missouri.
