As young Dez Duron continues to pursue his singing career on NBC's The Voice, his family couldn't be more proud.
"I just think about all the times when we were young and he would stand in front of the fire place and sing. It's so exciting for us," his sister Destiny Deas said.
Dez's family and football coach say his passion and drive have always been a major part of his life.
As a high school athlete his talents were obvious on the Evangel football field.
"The thing about comittment is that it's transferable. From the football field, now he's using his voice on The Voice on a national stage," Dez's coach/brother-in-law Philip Deas said.
