SPD needs help in finding runaway

Shreveport Police are asking for your help in finding a 15-year-old boy who has run away.

Authorities say McConnell is a habitual runaway, who was home on a pass from Ware Youth Shelter located in Coushatta, Louisiana. 

McConnell comes to his mother's home every other weekend to visit.  He left from 3658 Stonewall without his mother's consent, and has not been seen since. 

He 5'7" tall and weighs 145 lbs. He is known to frequent the 3600 block of Sumner and the Cedar Grove area.  

Anyone who has seen McConnell is asked to contact SPD Detective Hornsby at (318) 673-7025 or (318) 673-7020.
