Thanks to an area casino, Bossier Council on Aging has a new ride to help with its Meals on Wheels Program.

Today Horseshoe Casino Executives, and representatives from their parent company, Caesars Entertainment donated a brand new GMC vehicle to the agency.

Every week Bossier Council on Aging delivers more than one thousand meals to senior citizens in Bossier Parish.

The executive director says the donation is much needed and much appreciated.

"It's very important," says Teresa, Executive Director of Bossier Council on Aging. "Donations and gifts like this from Caesars Foundation allows us to serve our home-bound senior population."

If you'd like to help the agency with its Meals on Wheels program, give them a call at (317) 741-8302.
