Police ask for scam victims to come forward

Shreveport Police are asking that residents who may have paid a local man for home repairs to call Crime Stoppers.

According to authorities, Donnie Russell accepted money from elderly locals in exchange for repairs that were never performed.

Russell has been charged with misapplication of payment by a contractor.

Shreveport Police believe there are other victims out there, and ask that if you think you have been scammed please call (318) 673-7373.
