Harrison County seeking help in finding culprits who robbed storage facility

By: Nancy Cook
Updated: November 7, 2012

Harrison County Investigators are seeking information regarding a burglary that occurred on Sunday night, November 4, 2012 between the hours of 10:30 PM and Midnight. 18 storage units of the Harleton Storage at the intersection of FM 450 and FM 1968 were entered and items taken.

The facility has video camera images of at least two vehicles and one person approaching the closed gate of the facility. There is a single image of a male who appears to be wearing gloves opening the gate after cutting the lock. The good image of a vehicle appears to be a dark color SUV style with a spare tire on the right front. The other wheels on that vehicle appear to be custom chrome wheels. The second vehicle appears to be a recent year dark model sedan.

The storage units were ransacked and it appears that the burglars went to each unit and systematically went through the units taking only items that interested them.

If anyone has any information regarding this burglary, please contact the Investigation section of the Harrison County Sheriff's Office at 903-923-4000 or Crimestoppers at 903-935-9969..

It seems to me that with the number of burglaries that have happened in the Harleton area the Sheriffs Dept should have some sort of lead by now. Its getting ridiculous. And obviously the idiots who are doing it know that too.
