(New Orleans, LA) San Antonio staved off a youthful effort from the Hornets to win 99-95.

New Orleans opened a nine point lead in the second quarter following an Al-Farouq Amino alley-oop, but watched the Spurs chizel away from that point forward.

Tim Duncan led San Antonio with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Tony Parker wasn't far behind with 23 points, including a three pointer that sealed the Spurs win.

Hornets rookie Anthony Davis led New Orleans with 21 points.
