State lawmakers are taking a shot at creating the loosest gun laws in the country.
Louisiana voters will get the final say at the polls on November 6th when they cast their ballots for or against Proposition Two.
As NBC 6 News' Jacque Jovic explains, the NRA supports it the proposal, saying it guarantees your right to bare arms.
But opponents say it could threaten public safety.
