Brooke Lassiter Stoehr to be honored by alma mater

Stoehr was a standout player for the Lady Techsters basketball program from 1998-2002. She served as a two-year captain and starting point guard as a junior and senior, while leading the team to an impressive 119-16 mark.
She was instrumental in leading Louisiana Tech to four NCAA Championship appearances, including the final four in 1999, and two more Elite Eight appearances.
The Hamburg (Ark.) native finished her career as the NCAA Division I all-time career free throw percentage leader at 91.5, hitting 268-292 attempts.
Since her days as a Lady Techster, she's been to Florida State where she earned her master's degree and served as a graduate assistant. She has served on women's basketball staffs at Arkansas-Little Rock, Louisiana Tech, Southern Mississippi and Texas Tech.
