The art and food at the Red River Revel are the finest you'll find at any local festival. Richard Cayou comes from Loveland, Colorado every year to sell his art, and to see what others are doing.

"Setting up next to so many different diverse artists, it's an inspiration to me because then I can see what other people are doing and how they're doing it. If you appreciate the art world at all, you've got to see what they've got here at the Revel."

It takes months of work to compile the diverse group of artisans who sell their goods at the Revel. Rene Carte's funnel cake stand raises money for the Benton High School Band Booster Club; she consideres her self lucky to be one of the Revel's food vendors.

"Oh it's great down here. The environment is great. The people that are working behind the scenes that you don't see are great."

The Red River Revel is the largest outdoor arts festival in North Louisiana. It continues through October thirteenth.
