Texarkana ISD to suspend classes for parent conferences

Texarkana Independent School District will release students early on Thursday, Oct. 4 for Parent Conferences and there will be a student holiday on Friday, October 5.
Texas High School students will be released at noon. Administrators, teachers and counselors will be available for parent conferences from noon to 2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.
Students attending the Elementary District Alternative Education Program (EDAEP), Secondary District Alternative Education Program (SDAEP) and Therapeutic Intervention Learning Center (TILC) will dismiss at noon.
Spring Lake Park Elementary School students will be released at 12:45 p.m. (Grades Pre-K - 2) and 1 p.m. (Grades 3-5) with administrators, teachers and counselors available for Parent Conferences from 12:45 - 2 p.m. and 3 - 6 p.m.
Theron Jones Early Literacy Center and Texas Middle School students will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m. with Parent Conferences being held from 12:45 - 2 p.m. and 3 - 6 p.m.
Dunbar Intermediate Center, Highland Park Elementary, Morriss Elementary, Nash Elementary, Wake Village Elementary, Westlawn Elementary and OPTIONS Academic Alternative High School students will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m. Parents can meet with administrators, teachers and counselors from 2-6 p.m.
Lunch will be available on all campuses before students are released.
