Quini Saves Pilots with another win

The lone goal was scored in the first half came during the 26th minute when Benito Garcia passed to Sam Weinberg who then sent a centering cross to find the head of Alan Arroyo for the 1-0 lead for the Pilots. LSUS took a total of 10 shots in the half compared to seven by the visitors. Quini made saved all three shots he faced in the opening half.

LSUS (6-2-1, 2-0-1 RRAC) had some crisp passing but only managed the one goal in the first half. The Pilots edged the Wildcats in total shots for the contest 19-16 over the much improved Wildcat Team.

"Wiley played well today. That team will win a game this year," said LSUS Head Coach Mike Aguilar. "Our guys played hard today but there are some things we need to clean up before our match on Saturday," he continued.

The next contest for the Pilots will be on Saturday at St. Thomas in Houston at 6 p.m.
