Limeades for Learning

A.C. Steere fifth grade teacher Sarah Ezell was pleasantly surprised when the bullying seminar she thought she was attending turned out to be a cheque presentation. The cheque, for $1,047, was addressed to Ezell from Sonic Drive-In and DonorsChoose.org.
Ezell had submitted an idea to the Limeades for Learning grant program. Her winning idea was a jeopardy type game called Tech Savvy Please! The game would allow teachers to create their own questions, so their kids can play and learn in class. Ezell says students are accustomed to technology at home, but her classroom lacks high-tech tools. The Limeades for Learning grant will help Ezell change that.
