Northwest Louisiana United Way Fundraising Improves

The United Way of Northwest Louisiana says their fundraising numbers have improved compared to the same point last year. At the annual Campaign Kickoff at Robinson Film Center the organization announced it has raised 30,000 dollars since June 1st, that figure is outpacing last year's efforts for the same time period.
The United Way of Northwest Louisiana serves 37 agencies and 5 partnerships throughout the 10 parish region. Volunteers are needed for many of the programs. You can visit www.unitedwaynwla.org to find a service that matches up with your needs.
