Annual Parkway Homecoming Parade to roll Thursday

The Bossier City Police Department will temporarily block off several streets in the Shady Grove neighborhood in the vicinity of Elm Grove Middle School on the evening of Thursday, September 27, 2012 for the 2012 Parkway High School Homecoming Parade.

    The parade will take place from 6 p.m. until approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The parade route will start at Elm Grove Middle School and travel north on Van Deeman Street to Shady Grove Drive, west to Parkway Drive and then south on Parkway Drive to the parking lot of Preston Crownover Stadium, home field of the Parkway Panthers football team.

    Bossier City police officers will be escorting the parade and blocking streets as the parade proceeds along the route.
