I-30 resurfacing in Texarkana, Texas

Drivers heading on Interstate 30 in Texarkana, Texas are being asked to prepare for traffic.
TxDott says several miles of I-30 are being resurfaced as part of a $4 million project.
The inside lanes will close first, according to Kenny Icenhower with TxDOT, then switch to the outside lanes. One lane in each direction will stay open.
Times like 6:00 a.m to 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. are expected to be the most busy, Icenhower said.
"Make sure you merge into traffic in a safe manner and watch your speed if you're in the main lanes," Icenhower said.
The project could wrap up by end of November.
