Texarkana Texas police need help identifying armed robbery suspects

The Texarkana, Texas Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying the

suspects in two recent robberies.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., Sept. 9, two black males entered the Family Dollar Store located in the 3000 block of South Lake Drive and demanded money from the clerks. One of these suspects was armed with a semiautomatic pistol.

  Both suspects were between 5'6" and 6'0" tall and wore dark shirts with camouflage masks. After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, they fled the scene.

The second robbery occurred at approximately 9 p.m. on September 11, 2012. Two black males approached two employees of the Dollar General Store in the 3500 block of New Boston Road.

After making the employees return to the store, the suspects demanded money from them. Both suspects were armed with handguns. They were 5'10"-6'0" tall. Both suspects had white shirts over their faces and were wearing ball

caps.

    One suspect was wearing a wind-breaker type jacket, while the other was

wearing a gray or white t-shirt and blue jeans. The suspects left the store with an

undetermined amount of money. No injuries were sustained in either robbery.
