A museum exhibit of the prehistoric kind is on display in Texarkana.

The "Dinosaur Discoveries" exhibit is now open at the Discovery Place Children's Museum in Texarkana, Texas.

A curator says the display of reproduction dinosaur bones and interactive exhibits are designed to show fossils in a new way.

"We have interesting displays that illustrate how these animals lived and also new theories on how they became extinct," said Curator Jamie Simmons.

The children's museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from ten to four in the afternoon.

Admission is $5.

The exhibit will run through December.
