Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit seizes narcotics, money

Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit investigating a narcotics complaint Friday night (August 31, 2012) made one arrest and seized a substantial amount of suspected marijuana, and cash.
Thomas Epperson, 66, was charged with distribution of Schedule 1 narcotics and booked into Shreveport City Jail.
The arrest was the result of an investigation based on a complaint of narcotics activity in the 1900 block of Clanton Street in Shreveport. A search warrant was executed on the premises.
In addition to Epperson's arrest, agents seized approximately 14.11 pounds of suspected marijuana and approximately $70,000
