Police and animal control officers swarmed the Harrah's Casino in Reno, Nevada Friday after a wayward mountain lion was spotted near the building.

Officers were able to subdue the lion with a tranquilizer dart.

They later returned the big cat to the wild.

Experts say because of the severe drought conditions this year there are more instances of wild animals entering areas inhabited by humans as they look for food.
