FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -
The University of Arkansas football team had eight student-athletes named to
the inaugural Senior Bowl Watch List, which was released Thursday.
Punter Dylan Breeding, tight end
Chris Gragg, wide receiver Cobi Hamilton, linebacker Alonzo Highsmith, running
back/returner Dennis Johnson, defensive tackle DeQuinta Jones, quarterback
Tyler Wilson and running back Ronnie Wingo Jr. were all named to the watch
list. Arkansas' eight selections tied for the fourth-highest total in the NCAA.
The Senior Bowl is college football's
premier senior showcase event, annually featuring the nation's best senior
collegiate football stars and top NFL draft prospects on teams coached by NFL
coaching staffs. Senior Bowl practices and game week festivities are attended
by more than 800 general managers, head coaches, assistant coaches, scouts and
other front office personnel from all 32 National Football League teams, making
Mobile and the Senior Bowl the week-long host to a one-of-a-kind NFL Coaches
Convention. This year's game is set for Jan. 26, 2013, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium
in Mobile, Ala., and will be televised on the NFL Network.
