The westbound span of the Shreveport-Barksdale Bridge is now open, after being closed this morning due to a three vehicle injury wreck.

Two people are being transported to local hospitals including a man who was underneath one  one of the vehicles involved,  a blue Toyota Corolla,

The man was in the process of hooking up the Corolla (which was broken down in the outside lane of traffic) to a pickup truck when a westbound Honda Civic reared ended the Corolla, knocking it into the pickup.

The driver of the Civic was taken to Willis Knighton-Pierremont with minor injuries. The man under the Corolla was taken to LSU Hospital in Shreveport with a broken leg.
