As kids headed back to class community leaders had a chance to get a first hand look at what's going on inside schools.  The Caddo Parish school system held its annual "Hop on the Bus" tour -- stopping at three schools, including JS Clark Elementary.

This will be the second year Booker T. Washington High School will serve as a 7th through 12th grade campus.  The school's principal explained how they plan on turning around the schools "Academically Unacceptable" rating.  Patrick Greer says students did make some improvements last school year.

The former Bethune Middle School is serving as a temporary site for the Ombudsman Alternative Program.  We'll give you a look at the changes taking place on the three campuses at six.
