No More Access Roads On Parkway

Few stops make for an easy drive. Today city council members voted to make sure the parkway stays that way. They voted to not have access roads cut into the parkway unless they are approved by them. But some aren`t so sure that`s the only way to keep the parkway from becoming congested. Commuter Diana Johnson says access roads would actually help the flow of traffic.
"I think if they would do it that way, we wouldn`t have to drive so far down and get caught up in traffic."
Many of those who use the parkway on a regular basis don`t agree. They say if more access roads were allowed along the parkway it might drive people away.
