breaking news
A mobile home in Shreveport`s Southern Hills Neighborhood is grabbing a lot of attention. That`s because it was abandoned, then stripped down for parts.
The home was left a few weeks ago just south of Highway 3132 near Walker Road.
After not finding the owner, The Louisiana State Police is going through a list of options to have it removed.
Right now, the spokesman for Troop G, Doug Pierrelee, says they are working with a wrecking service to dismantle the broken property. This proves to be a challenge because the home is broken into three separate parts and is too big for any one of their flat bed trucks.
Pierrelee tells Newchannel 6, this is the first time they`ve dealt with this type of abandoned home.
