Bossier coroner confirms baby drowning death

The Bossier Parish coroner has confirmed that the baby girl found in a pool earlier today has been pronounced dead. 

The call came in to 911 at 1:07pm from 2200 block of Belle Grove in Bossier City.  According to police, the child's mother realized her 1-year-old female child had wondered outside and fell in the swimming pool. 

    The mother administered CPR until the fire department arrived. The baby was transported to Willis Knighton Bossier.
