LSU Shreveport Institute and Faculty Member Featured in Short Film

The LSU Shreveport Red River Watershed Management Institute
and its director, Gary Hanson, are featured in the short-film "Truthland." This
film presents an alternative view to that expressed in the HBO film "Gasland."
The film is a first of its kind project by the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and Energy in Depth (EID). The 34-minute film explores hydraulic fracturing and the story behind shale oil and gas development. As the LSUS Hydrologist in Residence, Hanson was interviewed as an expert on water conservation and management of the local Haynesville Shale. Watch Hanson's interview on the Experts page.
